NDIS News

2 Year Claim Limit

From the 3rd of October 2025, all NDIS claims will need to be submitted within two years of the support start date. Until now there’s been no time limit, but a new law introduced by the Australian Government is changing this to make the system more efficient and reduce missed claims.

There is a 12-month grace period that ends at midnight on the 2nd October 2025, after this date, any claims older than two years will be automatically rejected.

Thrive Kids Program

There’s been a lot of information circulating about the new Thrive Kids initiative, so we’ve sorted through the details to give you a clear overview.

Thrive Kids aims to identify developmental concerns earlier and create a national support system for children aged 8 and under with mild to moderate developmental delays or autism, as well as their families.

Children with permanent and significant disabilities will continue to receive support through the NDIS.

At Pacific Plan Management, we process invoices as quickly as possible, often within days but if important details are missing, we can’t submit them to the NDIA until they’re fixed. The good news? A few simple steps can make all the difference.
