Thriving Kids Program Released

The Federal Government has released the model for its new Thriving Kids program, which will provide supports for children aged 8 and under with developmental delay and/or autism, who have low to moderate support needs.

The program will focus on early identification, connecting families with supports, and building the skills of parents and carers.

Thriving Kids will begin from 1 October 2026, with a full rollout by 1 January 2028. Children with permanent and significant disability and/or higher support needs will continue to access the NDIS under usual arrangements.

Understanding the 4 Key NDIS Support Roles

Navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming — especially when you’re trying to figure out who does what and who to go to for help. The good news? You don’t have to do it alone. The NDIS is built around a team of roles designed to support participants at every stage of their journey.

Our latest blog explains the four key roles you’ll come across: Local Area Coordinators (LACs), Support Coordinators, NDIA Planners, and Plan Managers — and when you might need each one.

Getting Social

Celebrating Georgia's Birthday

One of our Plan Managers, Georgia, celebrated her birthday in late January!
The team went out for a lunch to mark the occasion and enjoy some fun together. Happy Birthday, Georgia!

Able Plus

This month, we attended two Able Plus events in Campbelltown and Burwood. Gerard and David had a wonderful time meeting everyone — from familiar faces to new connections. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat! It was a pleasure to connect and share what we do at Pacific Plan Management.

Clusive Community Directory

Lisa, CEO and Founder of Together in Chaos and Clusive Community, has launched the Clusive Community Directory — a directory with a difference.

Clusive Community is a values-led directory connecting NDIS, Aged Care, and Allied Health providers, independent support workers, and community programs. Its goal is to make it easier for people and families to find trusted supports and services, while highlighting organisations that share the same community-first values.

Every listing contributes to Together in Chaos, helping fund free and low-cost peer support services for parents and carers. This directory not only helps businesses reach more people but also gives back with purpose, supporting community initiatives that truly make a difference.
