NDIS Quarterly Report: Key Highlights

The latest NDIS Quarterly Report has been released, sharing important updates on participant numbers, funding, and key trends from the past quarter.

Here are some key takeaways:

  • The NDIS had 739,000 NDIS participants as of 30 June 2025
  • 173,466 are children under 9
  • 26,536 new participants joined the scheme this quarter
  • Community participation up 7% for participants 15+
  • Employment up 13% for participants aged 15–24
  • Support payments have grown 32% in 2 years
  • The use of Plan management increasing with 66% of participants using a plan manager
  • $41.8 billion total funding for supports (2024–25)
  • Increased NDIS running costs: $1.48b (2020–21) → $2.08b (2023–24) → $2.53b (2024–25)

Be a part of the Disability Discrimination Act Review

The Australian Government is reviewing the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 in a move to ensure that it is working to protect people with disability.
As part of this process, public consultations have now launched and will be open until 24 October 2025.

Xbox Introduces Accessibility Tags for Gamers

Gamers with disabilities are about to have a much easier time finding the right titles. Xbox has rolled out new accessibility tags—covering features like clear subtitles, narrated menus, and flexible difficulty levels—with other gaming companies expected to follow. With over 4,000 tags now live, players can filter games to better suit their needs.

Caffeine Connections
End of Year Cocktail Party

Care Done Differently and National Disability Care are hosting an end-of-year Cocktail Party to raise much-needed funds for the Black Dog Institute.

There will be silent auctions and raffles on the night, and Pacific Plan Management is proud to donate one of the auction items for the event.

All proceeds raised will go directly to the Black Dog Institute to support their vital work in mental health research and support services.

Shoalhaven Disability Expo

Pacific Plan Management will be exhibiting at the upcoming Shoalhaven Disability Expo next week. The expo is for people with disabilities, their families, carers and friends. The expo is free and will have information stalls from over 40 service providers, fun activities and local entertainers.
