New NDIA CEO

The NDIA has announced Graeme Head as the new CEO of the Agency, appointed for a 3-year term following an extensive national recruitment process.

Graeme previously served as the inaugural NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commissioner from 2018 to 2021, playing a key role in strengthening the safety and regulation of NDIS supports across Australia.

As CEO, Graeme will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the NDIA, including the administration and delivery of the NDIS — ensuring the Agency continues to operate effectively for participants, providers, and the wider community.

Updated Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits Now in Effect

The updated NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits came into effect 24 November 2025. This includes changes to claiming for art and music therapies, COVID related products, Modified Monash Model (MMM), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Calculator, Assistive Technology, Home Modifications and Consumables.

NDIS Quarterly Report - Key Highlights

The latest NDIS Quarterly Report has been released, providing key insights into participant growth, funding trends, and outcomes from the last quarter.

Here are the main takeaways:

• The NDIS now supports 751,446 participants (as of 30 September 2025)

• 170,786 children aged under 9 currently have an NDIS plan

• Social and community engagement for participants aged 15+ has increased to 41%

• The employment rate for participants is now 23%

• NSW has the highest number of active participants, with 221,320 people accessing the scheme.

• 63% of participants choose Plan Management, followed by 27% NDIA-Managed and 10% Self-Managed Plans.

• The largest support category by payments is Core – Daily Activities, representing 51% of total payments.

• NDIS payments continue to grow, increasing from $28.6B (2022) → $35.1B (2023) → $41.8B (2024) → $46.3B (2025)

NDIS Office Hours

The NDIA will be reducing its activity from close of business Wednesday 24th of December 2025 to Thursday 1st January 2026. Regular operations will resume on Friday 2nd January 2026.

If participants have questions or need help during the festive season, the National Contact Centre will continue to operate to assist with urgent enquiries between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm (local time) Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays.

In November, we were thrilled to attend four fantastic Able Plus events, including the Annual Barefoot Bowls Christmas Party.

Gerard and David had a wonderful time meeting everyone — from familiar faces to new connections. Thank you to all who stopped by for a chat; it was a pleasure to connect and share what we do at Pacific Plan Management.
