NDIS Financial Sustainability Report Released

Last month, the NDIA released its latest Annual Financial Sustainability Report.

The report demonstrates that a stabilising of growth of the NDIS is being achieved through reforms.

NDIA Board Chair, Kurt Fearnley, says "This will ensure NDIS participants, and future generations, will continue to receive the supports they require to live a fulfilling life."

There is also a reassurance that any changes to the Scheme will not happen without partnership with the Disability Community and other stakeholders.

All Ages All Abilities Playground opens in Wollongong

The All Ages All Abilities playground is now open at Stuart Park in North Wollongong.

The playground features a range of equipment that is inclusive and accessible to all, such as wheelchair-friendly swings and a large trampoline.

The idea for the playground came from Associate Professor Dreyfus of UOW, and was brought to life with the help of Wollongong City Council, The Disability Trust and Australian and NSW governments.
